The first time I heard about TeenCastic was a week ago when I was at Macworld. I ran into Wade and Shivi filming at video for TeenCastic and introduced myself. The told me about TeenCastic’s goal to provide reviews from a teen’s point of view for all to read. I was really interested so I gave them my card. A few days I received a direct message on twitter from Wade saying that he had read my personal blog and really enjoyed it. We started chatting online about journalism and our involvement in tech and he asked me if I would be interested in writing for TeenCastic. I was ecstatic, and said yes, of course.
That was two days ago, since then, I have spoken to both Wade and Shivi extensively about journalistic integrity and my role at TeenCastic. You can read about my feelings on journalistic integrity here, where I responded to the recent TechCrunch firing. As a

writer I hope to give an in depth look into each and every thing that I cover and to give my own unbiased opinion and I expect to
be challenged if I do not seem entirely objective. One thing that I like to do in my posts is to keep them entertaining with rich
media (photos, videos, music, etc.) and I hope that makes them more enjoyable.
So enough about my idealisms, you probably want to know about me. I’m nineteen. Yes I know this is “Teen”Castic and I’m almost too old, but I’m still a teen. I’m currently doing a gap year before college and working on various tech and non-tech projects which you can read about on my personal blog or follow me on twitter. If you have any questions for me I’d love to hear them here.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy my contribution to TeenCastic,
Justin Leung
