Codename Lone Wolf is a sniper-shooter for the iPhone/iPod Touch.
With several different missions available for play and 3 different mission types you won’t be able finish this too game quickly.
As far as I’ve played (which is quite a lot) the music is the same through-out which may get repetitive, graphics are good however in some levels they are just still pictures and the only thing that moves is your target.

When you start a level a mission briefing will show-up once you’ve read it continue. Once you begin you’ll be presented with a scope view through which you will aim at your targets by tilting your iPhone in different directions.
This at times can be extremely frustrating, getting a good aim of your target is quite hard even after calibration.
Below the scope there is a picture of a gun; to fire you slide the trigger on that gun from left to right. In tense situatuions this part of the control system is also not that great. There is also a zoom-in button which you also slide your finger across.

You start off as SWAT, here you have to protect people from criminals, snipe hi-jackers on a plane etc.
Levels get harder as you move on for instance once you snipe one of your targets a countdown will begin within that time you have to get the other targets, if you don’t then obviously mission failed. This prevents the game from getting repetitive.
Once you finish a level you are presented with a stats screen showing exactly how many shots you fired and where you hit the target.
The game also features online highscores this is quite cool and you can show-off to your friends.
After you complete all the missions in one Mission type like SWAT for example you will then unlock Marines and once you finish
Marines you’ll move on to the final one which is Assassin. I really like the auto-save feature; if by any chance you quit the game (by accident or you received a phone call) the game will auto-save so you can continue from where you left off.

To sum it all up, Codename Lonewolf is a good sniper-shooter with some control flaws which could and should be improved in future updates.
