Art Text 2 is a photo editing application for Mac, focusing on headers, icons, buttons, and logos. Art Text 2 lets you create anything with text, whether its a document header,website logo, button, etc. Art Text will give you really professional results without taking to much of your time. It features an elegant modern user interface, sports over 200 built in templates, and has many useful tools which can help you get the end result you want.
The user interface on this application is glorious, but there are a few things that can be worked out. I really liked the overall user-interface and features, but there are some things that can be fixed. For instance, you can’t search your templates and they are broken down into categories, which is nice, but sometimes I want to see all of the templates at once, because currently, you have to scroll nonstop to the right to find the right template.
The stability in this app is just what you would expect. Nothing amazing compared to other applications, but nothing that would stop you from buying the app. Art Text runs smoothly and efficiently, which is why it got 5 stars for stability.
As for Reuse Value, Art Text is very good for that. With over 200 built-in themes and endless customization, you will probably never get tired of Art Text 2. If fact, I used Art Text 2 to make many of the graphics on the website today, including the famous download button above. Art Text is really a legendary app, and it had so much flexibility (including the ability to layer different elements), that you can honestly create a really spectacular logo, header, button, etc. from scratch, without having to use any template what-so-ever.
The app is relatively cheap, the features are excellent, and the end results are spectacular. It is a definate no brainer that every Mac user needs this app. The only thing is that the template gallery is a little annoying to navigate, but hopefully Belight will fix that with a software update.

Art Text 2 might be a good app if you are unable or unwilling to acquire Adobe PhotoShop, Creative Suite, Illustrator, etc. Adobe’s products are so good that anyone who uses them would have no need for this. But for others who want a quick and dirty way to manipulate text, this could be the ticket. It’s expensive for a one trick pony.
This seems like a great application from the review article though i believe this wouldn’t be worth as much as $40 . Though overall this seems like a great application that seems like fun if your into design!!!
